Hi, another week has flown right by and I still want to keep you updated on everything that’s going on here because I do appreciate your prayers, so much. Thank you everyone for praying, seriously, thank you.
The last week was a little busy, we celebrated a holiday yesterday. I made the girls eat one of my weird vegan meals. They all ate it and didn’t complain. I hope they liked it atleast some.
On Sunday we went and played soccer in Loco and we had a great time. The game was a draw in the end when they they called it. 3-3.
Carol’s mom has been in the hospital this week. She’s getting better, she’s supposed to get out soon. Thank you for everyone who prayed and please keep praying for her recovery.
Coming up, Beverly is coming back to us, yay. She has her flight arranged and everything. She should be here in March. We are so excited to see her, we can’t wait for you to come back Bev. And, I’ll see you when I get back because I’m heading to my niece’s wedding actually before she’s able to return. so I’ll see you when I get back.
Please pray for my time in the US. There’s a lot of people I want to see, everybody really, but trying to fit it all in is hard.
Tonight is movie night, we’re going to watch “I still believe.” In a couple weeks the roundtable is happening. We are going to talk about, what does God say about same sex relationships?
Tomorrow night, on Saturday, we’re holding a birthday party for the students. You may not know this but a lot of people in Uganda don’t know their birthday. They know they were born in rainy season or at harvest. This means they know basically which part of the year but then there are two growing seasons so maybe not. A lot of Ugandans pick a day and use that. Anyway, not everyone knows their exact birthday. So we plan to celebrate everyone Saturday night.
I think you can see from the picture that the road construction is happening again. Please pray for this. They’re trying to take the muvule trees again. The muvule is the national tree and it’s almost extinct.
Thank you for praying for the road work, the students, the ministries …. everything going on here in Uganda. I appreciate you.
